Grief Support and Counseling Resources
AVA Cremation cares about your mental wellbeing, connecting families with
trusted local grief support and help resources.
AVA Cremations is honored to serve the entire Tampa Bay community and surrounding counties. When a loved one passes, families are often faced with important decisions that must be made within the first 48 hours—an experience that can feel overwhelming and may delay the natural grieving process. As time passes, grief can surface in many ways, and you may find yourself in need of additional emotional support. To help during this difficult period, we have compiled a comprehensive list of grief support groups throughout the Greater Tampa, Bradenton, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg areas. These resources are designed to support a wide range of needs and locations. Below is our current list.

Tips for Choosing Grief Support
-
Individual vs. Group: Individual therapy offers one-on-one processing; group support can reduce isolation by connecting you with others who’ve experienced loss.
-
Insurance & Sliding Scale: Ask about insurance coverage, sliding-scale fees, or low-cost options when you call.
-
Telehealth: Many providers also offer virtual appointments if travel or mobility is a concern.
